The Historic Village At Allaire
Â
In last week’s post, I showed you the pretty little chapel at The Historic Village at Allaire, the historic town in Monmouth County, New Jersey.Â
Â
Workers at the Howell Iron Works lived in this self-contained little village.Â
Allaire Village is a peaceful and beautiful little place and a wonderful day trip for the whole family.Â
Â
On the weekends there are docents in period costumes to tell you all about the village, and you can take a trip on the Pine Creek Railroad!
Â
Thanks for visiting New Jersey Memories!

That seems like a place I would really enjoy. The millpond looks so peaceful and serene and I love the stagecoach. Great shots.

I really enjoyed the cyber trip back in time. I heard the train tooting its horn (wink, wink). Let's do it again sometime soon.
