The Historic Red Mill | Clinton, New Jersey
The Red Mill
This may be the most photographed building in New Jersey.
The little town of Clinton in beautiful Hunterdon County is the home of The Red Mill, a very important building in its day.
The mill was used to make many things over the years; including wool, peach baskets, talc, and graphite.
These photos show the outside of the mill, and the last photo shows the powerful wheel from the inside.

That is awesome! Great pictures. I wonder if THAT is the mill used in "Bob's Red Mill" products. I use them every single day! My latest blog post is a recipe that includes flaxseed meal from Bob's Red Mill. I will have to google that. I look forward to the village pictures!

FYI, no I don't believe that IS the same mill. Bob's Red Mill is in Milwaukee, OR and the building they are in is red, so I'm guessing THAT is the red mill 🙂 I'm sure you would have been up ALL NIGHT wondering! hahaha

Yes, I don't think it's the same mill. Love their products, though.
